What the statement asks for and where it is in the report

For the expert statement on the start-up grant, IHK Berlin asks among other things for details of the location, an assessment of the competition and a traceable basis for the revenue plan. (Basis: IHK Berlin: Gründungszuschuss)

Neutrality

• The report is available to all members and advisers on equal terms.
• It contains no advertising for LOKLU or third parties and does not judge the plan.
• We do not use the IHK's name or logo without express consent and do not advertise with recommendations.

Pilot: steps and cost

1. You name advisers; each gets an access code (up to 10 reports per day).
2. Four to six weeks of use with real start-ups in Berlin.
3. A joint review: what saved time, what is missing, what must change.

The pilot is free. A later offer comes with a complete description of the service and every price component, so it can be checked under your procurement rules. (IHK Berlin procurement rules)

Data protection

• A report needs only an address and a business category, no details about the founder.
• Reports are not stored after delivery; only the date, access code and category are logged.
• Servers in the EU. For competitors' names and ratings, Google Maps (Places API) is queried with the location and category.
• If advisers are to enter founders' personal data, we sign a data processing agreement with a list of technical and organisational measures.
